Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town

Upon arrival in Cape Town you are met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town sightseeing - Table Mountain

This morning, ascend the famous Table Mountain by cable car. The mountain is home to many species of animals and birds and is considered the smallest, yet richest, floral kingdom in the world. From the top we have spectacular views in every direction including: the city, Robben Island, the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, Mountain Ranges, ravines and the Inland Plains.

Please note: Cable car entrance fee is not included in tour price, it is weather permitting and does not operate if there are high winds.

After descending, a city tour takes in the Company Gardens, The Castle of Good Hope, Greenmarket Square and the South African Museum. Also take a tour of "The Bo-Kaap" area, with visits to the Malay Quarter and the district Six Museums. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 3: Stellenbosch Wine Region, Robben Island

This morning, visit Stellenbosch, a premier wine producing area east of the city. Visit a wine cellar and do some wine tasting at The Bergkelder. Before leaving the area, visit Del Air Wine Estate.

This afternoon is spent at Robben Island (home to Nelson Mandela for many years), a World Heritage Site and symbol of Freedom and Perseverance of the Human Spirit. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4: Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope

On this full Cape Peninsula journey, follow the Atlantic coast past Clifton, Camps Bay & Llandudno to the fishing village at Hout Bay, where you take a scenic boat cruise to visit an impressive seal colony. Continue past the Constantiaberg Mountains and Soetwater.

This afternoon, visit Cape Point, where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean. A funicular takes you up to the lighthouse. Take a short cliff top hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope - the south-westernmost tip of the African continent. On the return, visit a rare colony of African penguins at Boulders Beach in False Bay. The road back to the city takes you through the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 5: Depart Cape Town

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight today.
