Travel Insurance Waiver

ElderTreks strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance/medical insurance before you depart for your well-deserved vacation and we have made buying travel insurance very easy to do!

Stay protected with our Manulife protection plans for our Canadian guests, and John Hancock protection plans for our US guests. Get an insurance quote from ElderTreks preferred insurers by clicking HERE

Please make sure your insurance provider will cover you if you are travelling to a country that has a

government travel warning advising against any non-essential travel.

Insurance is mandatory for the following programs:  Antarctica, Arctic, Albania Macedonia and Bulgaria, Splendors of Southern Africa, Transylvania, Cuba.

​

For those booked on Kenya & Tanzania, With effect from 1st October 2024, all travellers to Zanzibar are required to purchase mandatory travel insurance, regardless of any existing policies they may already have in place. Information on this requirement will be sent to you by your country director. ​
